Ok, so this gun rocks. it's technically my first gun, but i've played lots of wars (20+) before i even got a gun. i've used a bunch of guns in my life, this one is the sturdiest. when you shake it violently, the only part that moves even a millimeter is the selector switch. plastic vs. metal wise, the shell is plastic, the innards, sights, and lower rail are metal. it's pretty nice- i've found from experience that this gun isnt too cold when you're playing in the snow. weight is good, and it's balanced well.
Pros:
- size, weight, build
- ease of use
- modability
- feel
- battery size
- ACCURACY
- strength- it can take a beating. as the captain of a JROTC group, i give it a beating, and it's done really well. I expect a lot out of the guns I use, and this one is the only one that has held out for everything i've thrown at it.
Cons:
- selector switch- sometimes you can't tell what setting it's on. it takes a bit of getting used to, but after a few months of playing, it's fine.
- ROF of stock battery- it came with a 1.2v 1100MaH battery. compared to my friends stock M16, it sucks... i have to place my shots well.
note: i don't know about the magazine that it comes with, i've never used it. i read a review before i bought it saying that the feed on the 470rd hicap that is comes with sucked, so i went ahead and bought a 5-pack of Star G36 mags. 140rds of pure genious. they're perfect. and they're only $50, i highly recommend them. I also recommend the Swatforce 40mm red/green dot sight, it's an amazing sight ($40), and it works really well on this weapon.
Anyway, this gun gets a 5/5, simply for battlefield efficency and sickness. just to throw it out there, this gun has won me 5 airsoft wars in a row- i havn't even gotten shot. it's pin-down power is amazing.
buy it. now. it's worth it.
